Ashwood limited specialises in recruiting Sales, Marketing and Category Management people throughout the UK. They concentrate on automotive, contruction, business to business and fmcg.
They required a simple cost effective way of advertising their full range of jobs to allow potential candidates to either apply for a specific job or to just register their interest. Ashwood wanted to advertise all their jobs all the time, so it was decided not to include a search facility. This allows the candidates to see similar jobs and apply for them.
The job registeration process was kept short and simple. Candidates can specify the types of jobs they are interested in, attach their CV and be put onto the email list.
The administration of the site provides Ashwood with full access to candidate's details where they can track the jobs they have applied for and remove them form the email list.
Against each job the total number of hits are recorded and the total number of applications. The administrator can change specific details ofthe job at any time.

New jobs are automatically added to the main web site as soon as they are entered
Latest job specifications are emailed to potential candidates
Hit counters track the number of people viewing a specific job
Applications for jobs are recorded by the system
Candidates can assign themselves to specific email lists
As soon as the site was launched potential candidates were signing up for the advertised jobs. The new layout and registration process has been a great success.
